Dungeons & Dragons is, at its heart, a group of people telling a story together.
One person plays the heroes (that's you and your party). One person plays the world itself — the Dungeon Master, or DM. Anything you want to try? The dice decide if you succeed or fail.
No screens. No computers. Just imagination, a few friends, and a set of dice.
🎲 Dice 101
A standard D&D dice set has 7 dice. Each one has its own job.
d20 (20-sided)
The most important die. Attacks, skill checks, life or death — it all comes down to this one.
d12 (12-sided)
Heavy weapons like greataxes — for when you want that satisfying chance at max damage.
d10 (10-sided)
Damage rolls and percentile checks (two d10s make d100).
d8 (8-sided)
Longswords, longbows — the classic weapon damage die.
d6 (6-sided)
The one you know best. Fireball? That's 8d6.
d4 (4-sided)
Small damage, spell buffs — and the most fun to roll.
How to read them? The number facing up is your result. That's it.
